Fabulous review

For me, as a crime fiction author, this is the ultimate vindication. A great review from a man who should know what he's talking about! Posted on Amazon, on the latest DS Pete Gayle story, this 5-star review said: I have to say, that as a former state police officer and Federal agent, I genuinely appreciate the detail Slater puts unto The Gayle series. LEOs run into false leads, uncooperative witnesses and suspects, and many leads that go nowhere in their investigations. His narratives display more of what is involved in investigations than the crap you see on tv, which is a joke….another well done story.
