Intriguing discovery

I'm in shock! I just went on an innocent wander around Google Maps, looking for a suitable location for a secondary character in the next DS Pete Gayle book to live, noticed some intriguing soil marks in a field on the northern edge of Clyst St Mary - the part of it that, according to an old map, used to be called Bishop's Clyst - and seem to have stirred up a hornet's nest of interest. Emails from Devon Archaeology plus over 50 people on the Exeter Past and Present Facebook page and over 430 on the Time Team Fans page have responded to it in a couple of days! (By the way, the houses at the bottom of the image are around 20 feet wide, which makes that big building at the top over 70 feet wide and over 200 feet long!)
